THOMASTON – Mrs. Susie Bentley Barnes, age 95, who lived at 419 Barnesville Street in Thomaston, passed at her residence on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. The Barnes and Bentley families can be contacted at her residence.
Funeral and burial for Mrs. Barnes was held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11 p.m. from the Mary Lizzie Baptist Church. Interment followed in Upson Memorial Garden. Pastor McAuthor Childs was the Euologust
Mrs. Susie Bentley Barnes is survived by only one daughter and two sons, Mr. Earnest Barnes, Jr., Mr. Walter (Lula) Barnes, and Mrs. Bessie Barnes (Walter) Perry, all of Decatur, Ga. Mrs. Barnes is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; devoted cousins, Mrs. Ruth Daniels of Yatesville, Stewart James (Edith) Williams and Mrs. Joyce (Harvey) King, all of Thomaston, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
Bentley’s and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all professional services.
