THOMASTON - Norman Frank Nesbit, age 43, of Thomaston, died at home Monday, February 4, 2013.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Thomaston. Interment will follow in the Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Wednesday, February 6, 2012 from 5 till 7 p.m.
Mr. Nesbit was a graduate of Stone Mountain High School, and attended Reinhart & Dekalb Colleges. He served in the U. S. Navy as a Yeoman. Mr. Nesbit was a resident of Waynesboro and Asheville, NC until moving to Thomaston four years ago. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Thomaston where he was the audio technician and was active in the Wonderful Wednesday program. He served on several church committees.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grayle Nesbit.
Mr. Nesbit is survived by his mother, Harriett V. Nesbit of Thomaston; brother, Neal E. Nesbit of Milton, Fla.; and his two nieces, Anna Nesbit and Zoe Griffiths of Milton, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 707, Thomaston, GA 30286.
