TEQUESTA, FLA. - Dwain Davis McPeake, 61, of Tequesta, Florida, passed away peacefully on January, 29, 2013.
Dwain was born in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Howard Q. McPeake and Virginia Davis-McPeake.
As Cadet Captain, Dwain led Robert E. Lee High School to National Championships for The University of Georgia’s Rifle Team in 1968 and 1969. He also attended the University of Georgia. Dwain relocated to South Florida in the 1980’s, where he pursued a career as a Commercial Property Appraiser. He had a profound love for the ocean and fishing. His intense love for the Lord led him to serve for many years as a member of the Cross Community Healing Ministry, formerly Maranatha Church, where he helped teach and lead others to Christ.
Dwain is lovingly remembered by his wife Marsha; his four children, Matthew McPeake, Michelle McPeake McCoy, Meredith Zinger, Michael Zinger; and granddaughter, Jordan McCoy.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Generation Church, 401 Maplewood Drive, Suite 14, Jupiter, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association.
