THOMASTON - Lucille L. McCard, 102, of the Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Thomaston, Ga. and formerly of 4 Lane Street, Manchester passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester with the Rev. Debbie M. Stokes, pastor of Apison United Methodist Church, Apison, Tenn. and Rev. Dr. John McCard, Rector of St. Martins in the Fields Episcopal Church, Atlanta, Ga. officiating.

Mrs. McCard lived in Manchester most of her life, was a member of Northside Baptist Church for over 70 years and was retired from Rhodes Furniture.

Mrs. McCard is survived by two sons, Wallace J. Seay of Spartanburg, S.C., Dr. Ray H. McCard, Macon, Ga., 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister, Helen L. Salter, Thomaston, Ga.; one brother, Marion Legg, Huntsville, Ala. and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite #550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
