Mrs. Mary Francis Burkett, age 85, of Thomaston, Ga., died December 3, 2012 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Burkett was born on May 23, 1927 in Taylor County, Ga., to the late R.R. and Hattie Mae Albritton, She worked for BF Goodrich Mills for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Linda and Junior Garner of Thomaston, Ga., Mrs. Yvonne Williams of Thomaston, Ga.; son, Mr. Ricky Burkett of Thomaston, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Lula Mae Gorman of Byron, Ga., Mrs. Lura Bartlett of Macon, Ga.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial followed in Mt. View Church Cemetery.
Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
