Mrs. Susie Collins Weaver, age 87, who resided at 501 Triune Mill Road in Thomaston, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Upson Regional Medical Center. The family may be contacted at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the Mary Lizzie Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Springfield Baptist Church cemetery. Pastor McArthur Childs will be the Eulogist.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by three children, Deborah Searcy and Mary Thompson of Thomaston, GA, Earl Weaver of Alpharetta, GA; seven grandchildren: Jerroid Searcy of Newport News, VA, Roderick Thompson of Thomaston, GA, Tameshia Weaver of College Park, GA, Briana Weaver of Front Royal, VA, Rashad Weaver, Kamal Weaver, and Damien Weaver, all of Alpharetta, GA; seven great-grandchildren, Jachorra Searcy, Hampton, VA; Dayzonna Searcy of Norfolk, VA; Marlon Searcy Jr., Adrianna Searcy and Promise Searcy, all of Newport News, VA, Audreas Weaver of Alpharetta, Ga, and Janiya Wyatt of Yorktown, VA; one sister, Maybell Lamar of Thomaston, GA; one brother, James (Champie) Collins of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Susie Mae Lamar of Molena, GA; brother-in-law, Hasten Weaver of Thomaston, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
