FORSYTH - Mrs. Eulala Harrison Bauer, age 95, of Forsyth, Ga. died at Heritage Health Care of Forsyth, Saturday, March 9, 2013.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013, at 3 p.m., in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston, Ga. Rev. Herb Flanders will officiate and burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 until 3 p.m., prior to the service.

Mrs. Bauer was born in Foss, Oklahoma, to the late Robert Edward Harrison and the late Ida Avera Harrison. As a child she moved to Summerdale, Ala., where she lived and farmed most of her life. She was a homemaker, a gifted cook and an active member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bauer was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Smarr, Ga. and she was active in Summerdale First United Methodist Church in Summerdale, Ala. She was also a farmer and an active member of Baldwin County Cattlemen’s Association.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Conrad Bauer and a son, Larry Lamar Bauer.

Mrs. Bauer is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Eulala Bauer, Forsyth; grandchildren, Heidi H. (Ben) Brewton, Augusta; Neil (Mary) Hightower, Jr., John (Juliette) Hightower, Thomaston; Harrison (Kristin) Bauer, Athens, Ala.; and Lee Ann Bauer, Panama City, Fla. Ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
