June Smith of the Probate Office was selected as the Upson County Employee of the Month for February 2013. Probate Judge Danielle McRae had the following to say about Smith: “It has been my absolute honor to work with Ms. June Smith. She started working with Upson County in December of 1985. That’ll be 28 years this December and that is impressive! I’m sure she has seen many interesting things in her time here. Ms. June has worked for two other judges prior to working with me. I can’t speak for the other Judges, but I can say that she has been an incredible asset to the Probate Office. I can’t imagine a day without Ms. June in this office and hope that day doesn’t come any time soon. We consider her the mama of our office and we all love and respect her. For all these reasons, I have asked that she be nominated for Employee of the Month.” June Smith is shown receiving her award from Probate Judge Danielle McRae.
