THOMASTON – Mrs. Hazel Adams Winkles, age 82, of Thomaston, Ga., died February 19, 2013 at Providence Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Winkles was born on August 30, 1930 in Thomas County, Ga., to the late Roscoe and Lucile Adams. She worked for Nordstand Corporation in Atlanta for 20 years as a Coordinator and later worked at West Central Georgia Bank as a Receptionist for 10 years. Mrs. Winkles was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Talmadge Winkles of Thomaston, Ga.; son, Mr. Bob (Joan) Winkles of Douglasville, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Durrwachter of Port Orange, Fla., Mrs. Dorothy Brazier of St. Lucie, Fla.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2 p.m. from East Thomaston Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.
