STOCKBRIDGE - Congrats to coach Bart Phillips and his Lady Knights basketball team. After trailing 13-2 in the first quarter, they came back and beat Eagles Landing by a 53-49 score. The Lady Knights now advance in the Region Tournament and will play the #4 state-ranked Lady Cardinals from Jonesboro tomorrow night at 7 p.m. The game will be at Woodland High School. The winner advances to the State Playoffs. It’s been 7 years since the Lady Knights have made it to the State Playoffs. Make the trip to Stockbridge tomorrow night and support them!
Congrats to the Upson-Lee boys basketball team on their victory over Spalding tonight. They advanced in the Region Tournament and will play the #3 state-ranked Golden Eagles from Eagles Landing at 8:30 pm on Wednesday night. The game is at Woodland High School in Stockbridge.
