Lady Knights avoid play-in game with 51-38 win

Upson-Lee junior Keondra Ausbrooks scored two of her career high 17 points with this layup against Spalding on Tuesday night. Ausbrooks also added a career high 17 rebounds in contest. Tykeela Gray added 13 points and 14 rebounds, Jasmine Davis netted 11 points, Kiashona Carter finished with five points, Ja’Leesa Gibson scored three points, while Demeshia Russell chipped in with two points in the Lady Knights’ 51-38 victory. The victory over Spalding forced the Lady Jaguars into the No. 6 seed, giving the Lady Knights the No. 5 seed and keeping them from the play-in game on Saturday night.
