Turnovers proved to be costly to the Upson-Lee Knights Friday night at Matthews Field as the North Clayton Eagles took advantage of a fumble and several interceptions to win their first game of the season, 19-14. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Knights and leaves them with a 1-1 record in Region 4B and a 3-3 season record. The Eagles are also 1-1 in Region 4B, and 1-6 on the season. For a complete game recap, see Tuesday’s edition of The Thomaston Times.
