Mr. Michael Hrizuk, Jr., age 84, of Kathleen, Ga., died October 4, 2012 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Warner Robins.

Mr. Hrizuk was born on October 10, 1927 in Hokendaqua, Pa., to the late Michael and Anne Hrizuk, Sr. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force for 27 years, earning the rank of SMSgt (E-8) before his retirement. Mr. Hrizuk fought in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. Heather and Ned Roques of West Virginia, Mrs. Leann and Larry Williford of Lawrenceville, Ga; sons, Mr. Michael and Gudrun Hrizuk III of Arlington, Va., Mr. William and Tanya Hrizuk of Kathleen, Ga., Mr. Steven Hrizuk of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mr. Jeffrey Hrizuk of Ocean Springs, Miss.; step-son, Kenneth and Martha Ann McCarty of Thomaston, Ga.; sister, Mrs. Anna Saylor of Allentown, Pa.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
