The Upson-Lee Knights improved their 2012 home record to 2-0 Friday night by crushing the Central Macon Chargers, 42-21. The Knights’ defense set the pace of the game early, as defensive back Travis Pittman intercepted two Charger passes in the first quarter, returning both of them for touchdowns before the Upson-Lee offense ever took the field. For the complete game story, see the Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 edition of The Thomaston Times.
