Mr. Daniel Lee Hutchens, Sr., age 66, of 453 Gordon School Road, Thomaston, died at his residence September 20, 2012. Mr. Hutchens was retired Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor for the Thomaston-Upson County School System.

Mr. Hutchens is survived by his wife, Estelle Stanger Hutchens of Thomaston; three daughters, Mrs. Deborah (Randy) Mountain of Buford, Ga., Mrs. Cindee (Dustan) Dotson of Concord, Ga., and Mrs. Jodi (Matt) Zubicki of Sahuarita, Ariz.; six sons, Mr. Daniel (Cara) Hutchens, Jr. of Joseph City, Ariz., Mr. Timothy (Dawn) Hutchens of Griffin, Ga., Mr. Samuel (Jenna) Hutchens of Thomaston, Ga., Mr. Matthew Hutchens of Thomaston, Ga., Mr. Joshua (Elise) Hutchens of Thomaston, Ga., and Mr. James (Samantha)Hutchens of Griffin, Ga.; one brother, Mr. Mike Hutchens of Leslie, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Connie Hutchens Barry of Stewart, Fla., and Mrs. Barbara Hutchens Barnes of Columbus, Ga.; 37 grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Hutchens was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Thomaston.

Services for Mr. Hutchens will be held Monday, September 24, 2012 from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Thomaston, at 11 a.m., with burial to following in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Leslie, Ga.

The family will be receiving friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m.
