In honor of the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U. S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, students at Upson-Lee North Elementary held a re-enactment of the signing on Constitution Day, Monday, Sept. 17. They were assisted in the ceremony by Griffin Judicial Circuit District Attorney Scott Ballard and Upson County Commission Chairman Maurice Raines. In the photo, teacher Jenna Dunaway and her dance partner, teacher Matthew Watley (kneeling), lead students dressed in period garb in a dance to celebrate the signing.
