Mrs. Norma Crabtree Tyson, age 82, of Thomaston, GA, died August 19, 2012 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Tyson was born on January 2, 1930 in Humbolt, TN, to the late Roy and Frances Crabtree. She was formerly employed with Thomaston Mills, where she worked in the Weaving Department for over 30 years. Mrs. Tyson was a member of New Bethel Baptist church. She volunteered her time at Upson Regional Medical Center as a Pink Lady.

Survivors include her sons, Mr. Glen Tyson of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Jeff Tyson of Inverness, FL; brother, Mr. Joel Crabtree of Thomaston, GA; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 5-7 p.m.
