Mr. Henry Grady Coker, age 74, of 587 Atwater Road, Thomaston, GA, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Coker was born on January 1, 1938 in Thomaston, GA, to the late Henry Grady Sr. and Jeanette (Pierce) Coker. He retired as an Aircraft Mechanic from Warner Robins AFB after 25 years. Mr. Coker also served in the U. S. Navy on the USS Essex during Vietnam.
Survivors include his son, Mr. Christopher Eugene Coker of Thomaston; two brothers, Mr. James (betty) Coker, and Mr. Wayne (Cherry) Coker, both of Thomaston; two sisters, Mrs. Fay (Bob) McRee, of Bozeman, Montana, and Ms. Laverne Collins, of Thomaston.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Monday, August 13, 2012, from 5-7 p.m.
