Mr. George Henry Willis, age 85, of 1419 Pleasant Valley Road, Molena, GA, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Atlanta Medical Center.
Mr. Willis was born on December 19, 1926, in Troup County to the late Joseph Walker and Kitty Estelle (Teal) Willis. He retired from B. F. Goodrich, Martha Mills, after 41 years in Maintenance. He also served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Arrie J. Daniel Willis of Thomaston; a daughter, Mrs. Lisa (Alan) Salter of Kennesaw, GA; six sons, Mr. Charles James, Thomaston, Mr. Ronny Bell, Roanoke, AL, Chuck Bell, Milton, FL, Andy Bell, Thomaston, Hank Owens, and Britt Owens of Thomaston, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Moody Memorial Gardens in Zebulon, GA.
Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
