Mr. Warren Durrer Rigby, 87, of Yatesville, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Rigby was born in Atlanta, GA., a son of the late Tommie and Fannie Eva Smith Rigby. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Mr. Rigby was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Wesley Lee Cummins.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Rigby; two daughters, Debra (Vance) Mulling and Linda (Ronnie) Riggins, both of Yatesville; a son, Emory (Laura) Rigby of Culloden; four grandchildren, Chris (Becky) Mulling, Kent (Ashley) Riggins and Kyle Rigby of Yatesville, and Mindy (Jeremy) Tyson of Thomaston; and two great grandchildren, Addison Mulling and Kinsley Riggins, both of Yatesville.
Funeral services for Mr. Rigby will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Marc Pritchett officiating. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday morning at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home.
