Mr. Robert Lee Kay, age 82, of Thomaston, GA, died June 20, 2012 at Emory University Hospital.
Mr. Kay was born on September 10, 1929 in Eufaula, AL, to the late Andrew and Jessie Kay. He was formerly employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation, where he worked in the Right of Way Department for 34 years. Mr. Kay was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virginia Kay of Thomaston, GA; niece, Ms. Pat K. Simon of Columbus, GA; nephew, Mr. William Larry and Janet Kay of Columbus, GA.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Faith Baptist Church. Burial followed in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
