Dale E. Kelly, 80, longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL, passed away June 12, 2012. He was born in Thomaston, GA, son of the late Claude and Maggie Mae (Wade) Kelly. Dale entered the Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in the Mediterranean, as well as Jax NAS.
Dale had a sense of humor that was legendary.
Dale was preceded in death by his dear wife Betty Jean.
Surviving are four children, Mark (Sheryl) Kelly, Kathy (Harvey) Hahn, Paul Kelly, John (Joy) Kelly, a brother, Kenneth (Carole) Kelly, four grandchildren, Matthew, Kristi, Adam and Kevin and many dear friends.
The funeral was Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Glendale Community Church, 6411 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville. Pastor Harvey Hahn officiated.
