The second of two inmates who escaped from the Upson County Jail on May 5 was caught in metro Atlanta Friday afternoon and is being held at the Clayton County Jail.

Gregory Lawson, 18, and Demetris Jarrod Mildton, 23, escaped after a door was left open at the jail by a trash detail. Mildton, was captured last Monday in Orange Park, FL.

Lawson, who was awaiting transport to the state prison after being convicted on a charge of aggravated battery, will now face a felony charge of escape.
