Mrs. Virginia Cook, age 83, of Thomaston, GA, died February 21, 2012 at her residence.{linefeed}

Mrs. Cook was born on January 11, 1929 in Newton County, GA, to the late Winston and Myrtle Maddox. She was employed with Thomaston Mills Peerless Division for many years.{linefeed}

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Sharon Reynold of Clayton, GA, Mrs. Phyllis Jones of Thomaston, GA, Mrs. Terry and Danny Deloach of Greenville, GA, Mrs. Lynn and Ricky Fuller of Thomaston, GA, Mrs. Marie and Jackie Taunton of Elijay, GA; sons, Mr. Richard and Patsy Dean of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Danny and Gloria Cook of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Larry Cook of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Tim and Renee Cook of Thomaston, GA; 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.{linefeed}

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery.{linefeed}
