Mrs. Brenda J. Walker, age 69, of Thomaston, Georgia, died on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 following a long term illness in South Hill, Virginia. Mrs. Walker was born in Carihage, Mississippi on December 13th, 1938 and was married to Thomas J. Walker (deceased) of Thomaston, Georgia- For over 21 years Mrs. Walker served right along with her husband in the United States Air Force, and upon his retirement from military service made Thomaston their home. Mrs. Walker worked for many years in the local areas of Thomaston, and loved being around her family, and visiting her friends.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her three children; Teresa Walker-Barfield of Thomaston, Sharon Walker of Bon Aire, GA, and Wayne Walker of Richmond, VA; Mrs. Walker has seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Walker is also survived by her only Sister Mrs. Sandra Hinton of Corinth, Mississippi.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 am at Coggins Funeral Home. Friends are invited to meet with Mrs. Walkers children before the services starting at 10:00 am. Anyone wishing to send flowers or attending her memorial services is encouraged to attend.
