The Upson County Animal Control will be hosting a Rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, October 25th 2008 from 8am until 10am in front of the Upson County Roads Department.

State law requires that all dogs and cats over 13 weeks be vaccinated against rabies yearly. Rabies vaccination can only be administered by a veternarian. We will have two veternarians on site. The cost of a one year vaccination is $7 and the cost of a three year vaccination is $17. Payment must be made by cash only.

In order for your pet to receive a three year shot, proof of a prior one-year shot must be available.

Please bring all cats crated if possible and dogs on a leash if possible. If you need assistance, the veternarian can come to your car and administer the rabies vaccination. For more information, contact the Upson County Animal Shelter at 706-647-5586.
