Funeral services for Mr. Linn Richard Sprinkle, 77, of Zorn Road, will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at 2 p.m., in the Pasley-Fletcher Chapel, with the Rev. David Dawson and the Rev. Allan Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Mr. Sprinkle died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Sprinkle was a member of Emory’s Chapel Church, and retired from Thomaston Mills, Bleachery Division. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was also a member of #27 F&AM Morningstar Lodge.

Survivors include his daughter, Lynn Wall (Paul) Vickers of Zebulon; a son, Jeff Sprinkle of Savannah; step-daughters, Lane McLean and Mrs. Angie Hammock, both of Thomaston; sisters, Mrs. Doris Turner of Thomaston, and Mrs. Nancy Peters of Ringgold; brothers, Mr. John E. Sprinkle and Mr. Frank Sprinkle, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
