Shh! It’s a silent auction! Kyle Fletcher carefully studies an outdoor rug at the Thomaston-Upson Arts Council’s (TUAC) Summer Solstice Silent Auction held on Saturday, June 21, at Doctor Morgan’s Farm. Up for bid were several pieces of art work, vacation trips, baskets and much more, all donated by Upson businesses and residents. Carmen Ellerbee, of TUAC, said, “TUAC is celebrating their 17th Annual Summer Solstice party. It’s a great night where all the members of TUAC come out to enjoy great music, food and auction items.” For as little as $15, you can become a member of TUAC. Call the TUAC office at 706-647-1605 for more information.
