The Thomaston-Upson Arts Council will be holding their annual Summer Solstice on June 21, at Dr. Morgan’s Barn. This year TUAC members can enjoy an “Old Fashioned Solstice” spending time with old friends as well as getting to know new members. Along with good food and entertainment by Leftover Biscuits, there will be silent and live auctions. “All money raised will further arts in schools, children’s arts programs, the theatre wing and performing arts,” said Carmen Ellerbee of TUAC. Everyone is invited to attend, and non-members are no problem, they can join when they get there. A TUAC membership is $15 for an individual for a year, or $25 for a family. TUAC asks for those who are planning to attend please R.S.V.P. by calling the TUAC office at 706-647-1605.
