Graveside services for Mrs. Lera Raybon Rogers, 79, of Meansville, were held Friday, June 13, 2008, at 11 a.m., in the Shiloh Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Wingertsahn officiating.

Mr.s Rogers died Wednesday, June 11. 2008, at Columbus Medical Center.

Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rogers was born on April 23, 1929, in Americus, Ga., to the late Ernest and Rosie Raybon. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Hazel Bethune.

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Loetta Salter Williams of Meansville, and Mrs. Judy (William) Kendrick and Mrs. Dottie (Byron) Teal, both of Thomaston; sons, Mr. Dale Rogers and Mr. Jim Rogers, both of Thomaston; a brother, Mr. Johnny Paul Raybon of The Rock; and sisters, Mrs. Mary Eubanks of Thomaston and Mrs. Shirley Ann Hendricks of Griffin.
