Flint River Technical College had reason to celebrate last night as numbers of students walked across the stage at the Thomaston-Upson Civic Center and became college and GED graduates.
Students received diplomas and degrees in everything from accounting and early childhood education to carpentry and criminal justice.
One student celebrating was Donnie Andrews who was awarded for making over 3,000 on the GED.
Andrews received his GED at last night’s ceremony and the 24-year-old’s next plans are to join the nursing program at Flint River Technical College and become a Registered Nurse.
