Memorial services for Mr. Eddie Van Bridges “Bo,” 64, of Avenue G, were held Monday, April 28, 2008, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with Brother Jim Thomas officiating.

Mr. Bridges died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at his residence.

Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bridges was born on Feb. 26, 1944, in Upson County, Ga., to the late Homer Van and Velma Bridges. He was retired from Thomaston Mills with 40 years of service in the card room as an overhauler.

Survivors include his daughter, Miss Monica Bridges of Thomaston; step-son, Mr. Eric (Cindy) Bridges of Texas; and sisters, Mrs Jewel Farr, Mrs. Hazel (James) Young, and Mrs. Bonnie Ruth (Donald) Corley, all of Thomaston.
