The Fourth Annual Thomaston- Upson Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet was held Saturday, February 23, at Upson-Lee High School. To be inducted into the Thomaston-Upson Sports Hall of Fame, one must have a positive impact on sports in Thomaston-Upson County or have brought a positive reflection on Thomaston-Upson County through his or her career accomplishments. Inductees must also be at least 40 years of age and must demonstrate integrity, sportsmanship and a positive character. The Thomaston-Upson Sports Hall of Fame's mission and purpose is to recognize and honor those individuals who have contributed to and brought positive attention to Thomaston and Upson County through their extraordinary efforts and achievements in the field of athletics.
