Power was temporarily lost at the Thomaston-Upson County Airport on Feb. 22, when a truck ran into a power line pole on Delray Road. Georgia Power promptly replaced the broken power line pole, because the previous pole had broken in half after impact. An Upson County Sheriff advised that the road was partially shut down due to live wires in the road. Lines were reconnected and power was restored to the airport.
