Funeral services for Mrs. Willanelle Emmett Green, 93, of Kennesaw, were held Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Lee Almay officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Strickland Funeral Home of Clermont was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clermont had been a teacher. She taught at Gainesville High School, Clermont School, Brookton School and Brenau College. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Earl C. Green; her brother, Ramond Emmett; and several nieces.

Survivors include her son, Clinton (Barbara) Green of Thomaston; daughter, Beverly (Terry) Wenham of Alpharetta; sister, Geraldine Bondurant of Monroe; sister-in-law, Junita Emmett McDonough; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
