The Narcotics Task Force arrested a Thomaston man for possession of crack cocaine this week.

Reportedly, agents executed a search warrant at 416 Triune Avenue and discovered Dennis Martel Sanders, age 27, of 107 D Street, to be in possession of eight pieces of crack cocaine packaged for distribution. Sanders is being charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

During the time agents entered the home, Sanders was reportedly holding a 2-year-old child and is also being charged with cruelty to children.

NTF agents also reported three drug arrests from a June 15 investigation at Highway 19 North in Thomaston.

During a take down, three people were arrested, including one person from Griffin and a woman from Meansville.

Brandon Parks, 19, 221 Walter Street, is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

Anthony Willis, 21, of Griffin, is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and giving agents a false name.

Jacinta Phinazee, 20, of Meansville, is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and providing false information to agents. Phinazee is also being charged with identity fraud after providing agents with a false license when she was booked at Upson County Jail.
