Eidson

Funeral services for Mr. Wm. “Felton” Eidson, 88, of Garden Terrace, will be held Satuday, June 30, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Grace Primitive Baptist Church, with Elder Billy Morgan and Elder W. H. Durrence officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Mr. Eidson died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Eidson was a native of Upson County. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the owner/operator of Eidson Alignment for over 30 years. Mr. Eidson was a member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. He had been a member of Morning Star Lodge #27, Free and Accepted Masons, for 54 years. Mr. Eidson was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mignon Hill Eidson, in 1999.

Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. Glenda E. (Larry) Estes of Meansville, Mrs. Marsha E. Eidson (Lee) Lewis-Dager of Thomaston, and Mrs. Karen Eidson (Rob) Harvey of Port Deposit, Md.; a son, Mr. Mike (Vicki) Eidson of Thomaston; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
