Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Hill Moon, 73, of Barnesville, will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at 11 a.m., at the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Lonnie Grant officiating.
Mrs. Moon died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moon was born on Feb. 11, 1934, in Birchwood, Tenn., to the late Dewei and Ina Hill. She worked as a clerk for many years. Mrs. Moon was a member of the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Deborah Kendrick.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Nanette Underwood of Meansville and Mrs. Sheila Ivins of Barnesville; sons, Mr. Michael Walker of Barnesville and Mr. Kevin Moon of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Mrs. Doris Hill of Griffin; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene.
