Mr. Jackson Dennis, 62, of Grubb Street, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by Trice Funeral Home.
Mr. Dennis was a lifelong resident of Pike County. He was formerly employed by Dundee as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Beckham Dennis of Molena; his father, Mr. Jack J. Dennis of Griffin; daughters, Mrs. Charlotte (Rodney) Perrigen and Ms. Charnita Dennis, both of Thomaston; a son, Mr. Durrell Jackson Dennis of Molena; a grandchild, My'Qualon Walker; brothers, Mr. Charles (Martha) Dennis of Hollonville, Mr. John (Debra) Dennis of Williamson, and Mr. George (Virginia) Dennis, Mr. Eddie (Betty) Dennis, Mr. Lamar Dennis, Mr. Randy Dewberry and Mr. John Dewberry, all of Griffin; sisters, Mrs. Ester (Willie) Greggs, Mrs. Sara (Charlie) Pye, Mrs. Barbara (Mack) Watts, Mrs. Sandra (Adolph) Watts and Ms. Jackie Dewberry, all of Griffin; aunts, Mrs. Trumie Dawson of Atlanta and Mrs. Iola Powell of Winter Park, Fla.; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Mr. Sammy (Mae Lizzie) Beckham and Mr. Eddie Beckham, all of Molena, and Mr. James (Marie) Beckham and Mrs. Willie Mae Weston, all of Thomaston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
