BREAKFAST
A free pancake breakfast is held the last Saturday of every month at New Hope Baptist Church at 1165 Hannah's Mill Road.
This month's breakfast, to be ON July 29, begins at 8 a.m. The event is sponsored by the church along with Ingles Grocery Store, Northside Superette, United Bank, Waffle House, Wal-Mart and The Thomaston Times.

ADOPTION DAY
The Upson County Animal Shelter will host an Adoption Day Saturday, July 29, from 10 a.m until noon.
Those interested in adoption will be responsible for spay and neuter costs along with a $20 adoption fee due at the time of adoption.
