Funeral services for Mr. Lowell Geiger, 88, of Barnesville, will be held Thursday, July 20, 2006, at 1 p.m., in the Fluellyn-Freeman Memorial Chapel of Bentley & Sons Funeral Home in Barnesville, with the Rev. Benjamin Hardaway officiating. Burial will follow in the West Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
Mr. Geiger died Friday, July 14, 2006.
Bentley & Sons Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his sons, Mr. Walter (Clotel) Geiger and Mr. Jessie (Evelyn) Geiger, all of Barnesville; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Flossie Johnson and Louise Smith, both of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers, Walter (Luvenia) Geiger and Collier (Katherine) Geiger, all of Barnesville; and Floyd Geiger of Atlanta; a host of nieces, who include Dorothy Worthy of Barnesville; and a host of nephews and other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
The family can be contacted at the home of his son, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Geiger, 487 Fredonia Church Road in Barnesville.
