Respress

Funeral services for Mr. Albert Respress Jr., 57, of Hannahs Mill Road, will be held Thursday, June 29, 2006, at 1 p.m., at the New Shady Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Fred Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Respress died Saturday, June 24, 2006.

Bentley & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lytoisha Ivey Respress of Roberta; children, Mrs. Dalecia (Dewayne) Armstrong and Mrs. Ashiya (Eric) Anderson, all of Warner Robins, Master Sgt. Alando (Haslina) Respress of Kadena, A.F.B. in Japan, and Mr. Bobby Hicks Jr. of Roberta; seven grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Mann and Miss Geraldine Respress, both of Atlanta, Mrs. Cynthia Denise (Reginald) King and Miss Lisa Colquitt, all of Thomaston; a brother, Mr. Ben (Vacienta) Respress of Warner Robins; god-brother, Rev. Charles (Connie) Willis of Thomaston; uncles, Mr. Bentley Childs, Rev. Cliff (Alene) Respress and Rev. J. Q. (Louise) Colquitt, all of Thomaston; close friend, Mr. John (Dorothy) Harris of Thomaston; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Mr. Melvin (Debra) Ivey of Talbotton, Mr. Emanuel (Geraline) Ivey Sr., Mr. Gary (Sharon) Ivey Sr. and Mr. Richard Ivey, all of Roberta; Miss Cleon Ivey of Chicago, Ill, Mrs. Geraldine (Melvin) Jones of Bartow, Fla., Minister Jackie M. Ivey, Miss Alander Ivey, Miss Eloise Ivey and Mrs. Agnes (Dorsey) Dickey, all of Roberta; and several nieces and nephews and other realtives who mourn his death.
