Graveside services for Mrs. Lillian C. Hale, 80, of St. Petersburg, will be held Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 1 p.m., in Southview Cemetery, with Bro. Monty Eason officiating.

Mrs. Hale died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at the Hospice of Florida Suncoast at Palms of Pasadena.

Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Hale was born in Meriwether County, Ga. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1971 from Thomaston, Ga., where she worked for William Carter Co., as an assistant to the supervisor for 20 years. She was a member of the 14th Avenue Church of Christ, a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary Sunshine Chapter #9, and belonged to bridge groups. Mrs. Hale was a seamstreess at J. C. Penney for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Adams of Thomaston; a granddaughter, Alicia A. Neighbors of Thomaston; brothers, James Cook of Griffin and Donald Cook of Kennesaw; sisters, Mary Ellen Whitehurst of Griffin and Virginia Carpenter of Thomaston; and great-grandchildren; Kaylee, Kara Beth and Levin Neighbors.
