The Sertoma Club of Thomaston last week donated $4,064 to the Thomaston-Upson School System. The money will be used to purchase amplification systems to be used in classrooms. The club has donated more than $45,000 in the past 10 years to benefit the Special Education program. Pictured is Sertoma President Joey Sayer and Ann Browning, a special education teacher at Upson-Lee North Elementary. "We are all impressed with these systems," Sayer said. "I'd like to thank the community for supporting our raffle, which made this donation possible."
