My Precious Gift

Written by Sandra Miller Holsey

I received my precious gift in March of 1995. It was a blessing from the heavenly father. My precious gift was the birth of my child. It happened around 6:07 in the evening. My friends and family saw my child before I did. Finally, I saw my child. When I looked down at my child, tears began to pour out of my eyes. I thank God for the birth of my child. As the years passed by, my child grew into a little lady. Although she resembles her father, she has some of my characters. In conclusion, thank you Lord for my precious gift.

Janeisha Holsey will be celebrating her ninth birthday on the 24th of March. She is the daughter of Sandra Holsey and the late John Holsey. Her maternal grandparents are Emma Miller and the late Richard Miller. Her paternal grandparents are Blannie Holsey and the late Joe Holsey. She has a brother, John Tobias Holsey.

Birthday wishes are extended to the following: Miss Janeisha Holsey, Mr. Horace Raines - March 24; Mr. Rufus Battle, Mr. Otis Solomon Jr., Mrs. Mathalyn Paschal - March 25; Ms. LaKendra Green - March 26; Mrs. Sandra Griffin - March 28; Mrs. Evangeline Miller, Mrs. Eunice Cherry, Little Miss Jada Gresham - March 29; Mrs. Annette Cherry - March 30.

Thought for the day: "The distance between a problem and a solution is the same as the distance between your knees and the floor."
