Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Meeks Wade, 90, of Wheeless Road, were held Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Drew Stephens officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wade died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003 at her residence.

Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wade was a native of Upson County. She was a former employee of the Martha Mills Division of the B.F. Goodrich Company and also worked in retail sales at the Neal Logue Co. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Melva W. Thomas of Knoxville, Tenn.; sons, Mr. Jack Wade of Los Angeles, Calif., Mr. Wallace Wade of Redondo Beach, Calif. and Mr. Jerry Wade of Farmington Hills, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Margie Dickens and Mrs. Geraldine Teal, both of Thomaston; grandsons, Mr. Brad S. Wade of Stockbridge, Mr. Mark Thomas of Seviervelle, Tenn., Mr. Andy Thomas of Knoxville, Tenn. and Mr. Mike Wade and Mr. Matt Wade, both of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a granddaughter, Miss Jennifer Wade of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
