Mrs. Carrie Mae Brown Dennis, 86, of Gordon School Road, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at Providence Health Care.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by Trice Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dennis was born in Upson County. She moved to Detroit, Mich. where she lived her adult life then moved back to Upson County in 1998.

Survivors include a devoted niece who took care of her, Mrs. Eloise Brown Mann of Thomaston; other nieces and nephews, Mrs. Mary-Kate (Shedrich) Risper, Mrs. Mary Nell Lucear, Mr. Benjamin (Mable) Brown, Mr. James Henry (Georgia) Brown, Mr. Mitchell (Nancy) Brown and Mrs. Shelia (Milve) Colbert, all of Thomaston, Mrs. Florence (Clifford) Holsey of Milledgeville, Mr. Leon (Annie Clyde) Brown of Augusta and Mr. Dennis (Linda) Brown of Macon; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and two cousins, Mrs. Tressie Walker of Thomaston and Mr. Abraham Brown of Detroit, Mich.

The family is receiving friends at 302 Gordon School Road.
