Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Jean Thompson Walton, 42, of Robinson Street, will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 12 noon in the George E. Trice Jr. Memorial Chapel with Bro. Charles Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Walton died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Trice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Walton was formerly employed with Thomaston Mills. She was a lifelong resident of Upson County.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jessie James Walton Jr. of Thomaston; children, Ms. Crystal Tucker of Griffin and Mr. Robert Tucker and Mr. Emanuel Walton, both of Thomaston; three grandchildren; her grandmother, who raised her since she was five years old, Mrs. Maybell Lamar of Thomaston; her step-father, Mr. Willie Cleve (Mamie) Lowe of Atlanta; two sisters, Ms. Carolyn Outlar and Ms. Kimberly Lowe, both of Atlanta; three brothers, Mr. Ricky Lowe of Atlanta, Mr. Curtis (Carolyn) Thompson of Eldridge, S.C. and Mr. Gregory Thompson of Tennessee; mother-in-law, Mrs. Annie Cox of Thomaston; father-in-law, Mr. Jessie James Walton Sr. of Thomaston; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Ms. Angela Walton, Ms. Carolyn Walton, Mr. Terrell Walton and Mr. Timothy Walton, all of Thomaston and Mr. Edward Robertson of Butler; aunts and uncles, Mrs. Susie Weaver, Mr. Jule Collins, Mr. Tennie (Maudie) Hobbs and Mr. Willie Curtis "Bro" Hobbs, all of Thomaston, Mrs. Jewel Blanchard of Columbus, Ohio, Mr. James "Champ" Collins of Atlanta and Mr. Clifford Collins and Mr. Herbert Collins, both of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
