Salem Baptist celebrates homecoming

The Salem Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming and revival on Sunday,
Aug. 17. There will be no Sunday School. Morning worship service begins at 11 a.m. Rev. Hope Smith will bring the message. There will be only one sermon. The women of Salem will be celebrating Women's Day along with regular service. Revival begins on Monday evening, Aug. 18, thru Friday, Aug. 22, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Rev. Ulysses Ponder of Atlanta, will be the evangelist for the week. Please come join the Salem Baptist Church in these services. Rev. Hope Smith - Pastor.
The Orange Grove Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming and revival on Sunday, Aug. 17. Revival begins on Monday; Aug. 18, thru Friday, Aug. 22, each evening at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Marvin O'Neal - Pastor.
The St. James Baptist Church, Olive Grove Baptist Church, Pine Grove Baptist Church, New Lebanon Baptist Church, Zion Hill Baptist Church, and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church are continuing revival this week. Please go out to the church of your choice and support the revival services this week.
Our continued prayers to our sick and shut-in: Mrs. Carol Sullivan, Mr. George "Dit" Raines, Mr. Wiley Hollis, Mrs. Gloria Walker, and Mr. Bunnie "Stoney" Fagan. May God strengthen them as they recover.
Anniversary wishes are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Aldene (Odessa) Blasingame. They will be celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary on Monday, Aug. 18. We hope their special day is an enjoyable one.
