Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Louise McGill Weaver, 68, of Molena, will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Blackmon officiating, assisted by the Rev. R.F. Ferguson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Weaver died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003 at Thomaston Health & Rehab.

Trice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Pike County, but had lived her adult life in Upson County. She was a former employee of Martha Mill Textiles.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Leroy Weaver of Molena; a daughter, Ms. Mattie J. Weaver of Molena; a step-daughter, Ms. Yolanda Owens of Atlanta; sons, Mr. Walter Lee (Addie) Dixon and Mr. Leroy Weaver Jr., all of Molena; a step-son, Mr. Michael (Paula) Owens of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Mr. Curtis McGill of Griffin; a step-sister, Mrs. Pauline Weaver of Thomaston; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Joyce Dixon of Griffin; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Susie Mae Lamar and Mr. Alton Weaver, both of Molena, Mrs. Susie Mae Weaver, Mr. Haisten (Willie Mae) Weaver and Mrs. Jimmie Lee Weaver, all of Thomaston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
